My name is Carlo and till some time ago i used to work for a big consulting company.

Within that company, in the last ten years I worked mainly as project manager developing and maintaining IT bank systems, becoming an expert in the following areas:

• PreparingOutsourcing e reengineering solutions;
• Service Delivery Management, Facilities Management;
• Data Migration and System Roll-out Projects;
• z/OS systems (CICS and IMS, COBOL, JCL and SQL.)
  • DBMS DB2 with expertize in analysis and solution of performance problem linked to DB2 in ambiente z/OS.

Below some of the projects and roles that I covered:

Project Leader in Ukrsotsbank (Unicredit group) in Ukraine. I was responsible of "Integration Architecture and Satellites application" area in the project whose scope was to release a new Core Banking system (FlexCube based). I was responsible of the following teams:

• Application architecture;
• Data warehouse;
• Payments (internal and swift);
• General Ledger, Statutory and internal reporting;
• Credit Card;
• E-Channels (both Corporate and Retail).

Project Manager, in BNP Paribas Moscow, responsible of a software selection of the new credit card system.

Project Leader in the Polish PKO bank, during a long lasting project that consisted in the installation, roll-out and maintenance of a totally new core banking system, based on Alnova on z/OS. During the years I lead, as Project Manager, the following projects:

• Responsible for Integration of Corporate Banking functionalities (based on Multicash technology) into the new core banking system;
• Reengineering and development of the front-end security system and of the authorization system (2nd level security);
• Responsible for development of money laundry;
• Responsible for reviewing, optimizing and technical design of the architecture of the new banking system ;
• Responsible for supervising developments, in DB2, linked to complex data processes;
• Responsible of “Performance Analysis” and  “Capacity Plan” of the mainframe syistem (z/OS); later responsible of system performances during roll-out period.

Project Leader of current accounts and deposits in “Banca Intesa”.

• Responsible of “Application Maintenance” and development activities in current accounts;
• Responsible for nightly assistance (24x7) for current accounts and deposits;
• Y2000 ed Euro Projects;
• Responsible, for current accounts, of the projects "Migration Cariplo" and “Migration Comit”: scope of projects were system upgrade, migration activities and system roll-out;
• "Banca Primavera" Project: system upgrade and new bank start-up.
